AMDA Soul and Medicine Program in Mongolia

The 7th AMDA Soul and Medicine Program, or in short ASMP, was held at Gandan Tegchenling Monastery, the headquarters of Mongolian Buddhism in last September. On this occasion, local priests of Gandan Monastery with Japanese priests of Nichiren Shu and Oomoto gave a prayer for world peace and paid tribute for the victims of the World War II. The principal of Gandan Monastery School showed their appreciation to AMDA for organizing ASMP every year from 2008 and he requested AMDA to hold the 8th ASMP in the next year. The priest of Nichiren Shu appealed to audience that Japan had an important role in establishing everlasting peace of the world while the representative of Oomoto made a speech to show his hope that people around the world would have compassion to others. Dr. Suganami, founder and president of AMDA Group stated that the bilateral relations between Mongolia and Japan had continued for more than four decades, and the relationship based on mutual trust or the spirit of Sogo-Fujo would contribute to the making of a peaceful world.
